Aliza Rivka | Dance Therapist, DJ, and Visionary Leader
DJ Aliza Rivka is the founder of Mariposa Movement, an intuitive dance practice and global community dedicated to a global shift in consciousness.
With over 15 years as a dance therapist, DJ and ritual leader, Aliza has helped thousands of people experience liberation through movement. Her unique approach weaves technical DJ mastery with earth-based embodiment, teaching students to move energy — not just music.
A key figure in Costa Rica’s conscious dance scene, Aliza helped to activate the local ecstatic dance community, first at Danyasa Eco-Retreat in 2018 and later at the Imiloa Institute, where she co-founded Soul Sundays, a dance gathering that rebelliously kept community alive during lockdown in 2020. She now DJs and teaches internationally, and her leadership programs empower women to step into their joy and purpose.
